Booked it for 1 day and had a fairly nice experience. Had non-smoking standard king room with three beds, a sofa.
Interesting place for exploring Studio City. Staff and location were excellent, we liked that everything was really good.
Exceptionally comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a personal safe and TV set in the room. It was adequate and had things we needed.
Beds really comfy.... Breakfast good, but need more space, its served in the very tiny lobby.
Bathrooms were really outdated, really need to be updated. The bathtub/ shower was really dirty, had to go out and buy plastic sandals to shower. They really need to spend some money and fix the stairs. (Old and broken)
Nice, quiet and extremely clean location. Nice little Continental breakfast served, too. Would consider staying here again.
is better to say that there is no breakfast instead of having only coffee and few muffins
That it was close to restaurants and bars.
That it did not have a jacuzzi.
I liked the extremely friendly and accommodating staff. They really make your stay that much better there!!!
first off we do not know the market place there well and have not visited in 10 years at which time the prices were a lot lower we liked: the price the size of the room the internet (very fast and strong) the parking comfortable bed generally clean
the room had a terrible odour perhaps from the carpet we aired it out a lot and it seemed better the run down bathroom the breakfast was marginal - would have preferred some more fruit and better selection not so comfortable outside because of constant traffic noise and really not that inviting (concrete floor painted green and quite open to traffic - they could do a few more plantings to create a "court yard" feeling
The location is great. We stayed there to visit Universal, and it was very close. Also, that part of Ventura Blvd. is great for food; within walking distance of the hotel are a great French breakfast/lunch place (Le Pain Quotidien), awesome Japanese (Iroha; certainly not cheap but incredible food, and open until midnight), and a diner (Twain's) that we didn't go to but that is open 24 hours, which is handy if you're on a weird schedule. The rooms were clean, the showers were big and had lots of water pressure, there's a small fridge. If you're staying in the area, and need a no-frills, clean place to stay, it's a good place!
Parking was very tricky if you got in late.
I liked the staff and location, the price was ok.
Bed was hard and lumpy. Tv was old and outdated. I looked in other rooms and they were in much better shape.
Good location to visit Univ Studios and WB. Reasonable price. Supermarket 200 feet away + many restaurants and cafes
There's a small gap in the door to the room that makes the kids in the pool very audible early in the morning.
Location and cost.
The carpets were very dirty, should have brought slippers. The outside is in need of a good cleaning.
Stayed here twice, it's in great location if you need to stay in the valley. Lots of shops and restaurants around.
Studio City was in a very nice area with a supermarket over the road and lots of little cafes and restaurants very close by. There was a nice continental breakfast laid on in the lobby and a lady was at hand to help out and make fresh waffles.
